My project on environmental conservation, quickly turned into an eye opening journey
While researching the modern world,the data led straight to the fashion industry.

Most clothes we wear are drenched in chemical dyes, heavy metals and microplastics
Our supposedly fashionable clothing is destroying our planet.

For alternate solutions to chemical dyes,i dint have to look far, we have a rich textile heritage.which led me to Ajrakh!
An ancient hand printing process using plant based colours and sun drying techniques, practised by artisans in a remote region of kutch, India.

While searching for clothing brands using ajrakh i came across Sheeshakari, a sustainable luxury clothing brand, my mentor on this journey.
During my internship with them ,team was very supportive and helped me build Ajrakhify
